About Vinay Kamat:
After completing Post Graduation in Analytical Chemistry from Mumbai University in 1993, started career in pharma industry with Cipla Ltd.
Since then, worked with different organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Sitec Labs, Novartis, Watson, Actavis, Teva etc.
During 25 years of association with pharma industry, took up multiple challenges and worked in different areas such as analytical research & Development, Bio-analytical operations, Quality Assurance, and clinical operations of clinical research industry.
While climbing up the ladder of my career, started thinking of financial planning.
Started investment in mutual funds, with Orbit Financial Services, in year 2006, at the age of 36, with an aim to achieve my personal financial goals and the ultimate goal to have financial freedom by the age of 50.
Through systematic and disciplined investment, achieved financial freedom at the age of 48.
During these 12 years, gathered knowledge of the mutual fund industry, its working, and how to get most out of it.
In July 2018, while working as Sr. Director – Clinical Operations in world’s one of the biggest generic company, decided to quit the job and enjoy financial freedom.
While enjoying my financial freedom, it occurred to me that if I could give others what I have achieved through mutual funds, in the last 12 years, it would be even more enjoyable.
Now partnering with Orbit Financial Services and operating from Thane, helping people to design their financial life.
